The Kitchen: From Classic White to Bold & Bright
Before The original kitchen featured white cabinetry, dark granite counters, and warm hardwood floors. It was functional and bright, with a peninsula island and plenty of natural light from the large windows. Still, the finishes felt a little stuck in time, and the space was ready for a more current, elevated vibe.
After We went bold. Deep black shaker cabinets with sleek gold hardware instantly modernized the room. Crisp white quartz counters with subtle veining replaced the granite, and the same material continues as a clean backsplash for a seamless look. A statement farmhouse sink and gold faucet add personality, while new pendant lights and under-cabinet lighting bring warmth and drama.
The floors shifted to a rich wood-look finish that grounds the black cabinets without feeling heavy. Stainless appliances stayed for practicality, but everything around them now feels intentional and high-end. The island remains a central gathering spot—just far more stylish.
This kitchen went from “perfectly fine” to the kind of space that makes you want to linger.
Master Bath: From Corner Tub to Spa Retreat
Before The primary bathroom had the classic 90s/early 2000s layout: a large corner jetted tub with beige tile surround, white vanity with basic hardware, beige tile floors, and a standard shower.
After We removed the unused corner tub and introduced a freestanding soaking tub that becomes the focal point of the room. A long black dual vanity with gold pulls and white quartz counters creates strong contrast against the light walls. The shower received a full upgrade with marble-look tile, a built-in bench, and clear glass that keeps the space open and bright.
Wood-look flooring ties everything together, and gold towel bars add a final touch of polish the room now feels like a true retreat.
Hall Bath: Small Space, Big Upgrade
Before The hall bath was a straightforward white vanity, beige tile floors, and a traditional tub/shower combo. Clean and serviceable, but nothing special.
After Matching the master, we installed a black vanity with gold hardware and white quartz. The tub made way for a clean glass shower with marble-look tile. Wood-look floors and simple gold accents keep the space consistent with the rest of the remodel. The space now feels rich and inviting.
